Vehicle Wraps
Below are various vehicle wraps I have designed during my time at Capital Wraps as the Design Lead. We mainly work with small businesses and food trucks to help grow their local business. Usually they fill out a creative brief that helps me with making 3 initial concepts. They choose which direction they would like to go and we move forward from there to the final design. Most of the time they have a logo already but occasionally I do have to reformat it to fit better on the vehicle.

Lightship
Lightship is a company that provides a virtual clinical trial platform. They were looking for us to create a design for their “LightshipMobile” RV that would create interest in participating in clinical trials.
They had a few stock images picked out and some text they wanted to include but left it to us to make the design. They provided brand guidelines that I also had to follow while creating the design.
Ice Queen Italian Ice
Ice Queen is an Italian Ice company that was looking to create a design for their vehicle wrap and ice carts featuring their new logo. They requested the use of bright colors and the featuring a tie dye effect.
Since their logo was so vibrant on its own, I had to be careful to make sure the background didn’t compete with it. I had to rearrange parts of their original logo to help fill up the space better and flow with the vehicle. To combine the tie dye effect with the “ice queen” brand, I incorporated an ice/snow-like texture to the design which I think brought everything together.
Step Ahead Mobility
Step Ahead Mobility is a mobility company in the triangle providing sales, rentals, and repairs. Their goal with this wrap was to portray a “glass half full” approach of helping customers regain mobility-not remind them of their disability, and make it clear that they both sell high-quality equipment and provide a service.
They had a few specific ideas they wanted me to incorporate such as displaying their services/products through icons instead of pictures, showing that they are a family-owned business with a ton of 5-star reviews, as well as using their brand colors and logo. In my design, I incorporated these elements in a forward-feeling design, which compliments both their logo and the natural shape of the vehicle.
“Great experience on my business truck wrap - their designer took our ideas and made them look great”
Granny’s Sweets
Since their logo was so vibrant on its own, I had to be careful to make sure the background didn’t compete with it. I had to rearrange parts of their original logo to help fill up the space better and flow with the vehicle. To combine the tie dye effect with the “ice queen” brand, I incorporated an ice/snow-like texture to the design which I think brought everything together.
Right Electrical
Right Electrical is an electrical company located in Raleigh, NC. They had a few examples of wraps they liked that all featured a big focus on the logo as well as having dynamic bold backgrounds which I reflected in their design. For this design, I chose to highlight their brand colors, logo textures and chose a background that reflects “electrical” qualities.
